Hey! Great piece of work! I'm in the middle of The Fellowship of the Rings, (amazing piece of writing). Your use of light and shadow is excellent. A good depiction of the scene.

I really like that, the shadowing looks great. I could see something like that printed in the original books, (the style would be more fitting for the Hobbit's era, still)

Mind my asking (never had the talent for drawing), was charcoal was used for this?
